Kourtney, you have already begun filming with your sister Kim in Miami for the new season that will premiere in January, 2013. I understand you are the main force behind you and your sisters’ clothing boutique DASH, and it’s important to be in Miami where you have a DASH store, but shooting an entire series in Miami for months at a time is not a good idea for little Penelope.
The early stages of a newborn’s life are precious, and all the added stress and chaos of being in another city, where you’ll be surrounded by alcohol and partying, cannot be good for a 2-month-old. Not to mention that being on a reality show requires long days in front of the camera, with little down time to just relax and spend one-on-one quality time with your daughter.
I understand that starring in your reality shows are a big source of income for you and your boyfriend Scott Disick, but you have already made so much money so far — why the need to constantly be in the spotlight? It’s one thing to be a working mom, and it’s quite another to jump right back into the limelight and put yourself on national TV for the sake of publicity.
You already broadcast the birth of your first daughter (a move you supposedly questioned you would even do in the first place), and now you are cashing in on your daughter even more by bringing her on camera with you in Miami.
Momager Kirs Jenner must be behind this lucrative and public series, espeically during such a precious time in your life with your daughter. She is more concerned about money and fame than the well-being of her family, and it looks like you are acting in the same way.
Please Kourtney, take a short break from filming all of the reality TV specials like your sister Khloe Kardashian did when she chose to focus on her marriage to Lamar Odom and their plans to have kids. It’s OK to be on camera every now and then — after all, it’s how your family has made their money and are able to do their business ventures — but there’s no need to do a full-blown spinoff series in a new city with 2-year-old Mason Disick and brand-new baby Penelope.
