And, according to her half-sister Sarah Owen, the singer is hoping to get pregnant again in the New Year, to take her mind off the grief of losing her baby six months into the pregnancy. Starting a family is Lily and her 32-year-old boyfriend Sam Cooper‘s Christmas wish this holiday season.
Just days after the tragedy of losing her unborn baby, Lily Allen was rushed back to the hospital to be treated for a blood-poisoning condition.
Lily Allen tragically lost her baby last week and is now she’s battling a serious bacterial infection. According to her publicist, the singer, 25, was rushed back to a clinic on Friday (Nov. 5), and is currently being treated for septicemia. Despite the intensity of this blood infection, she is showing encouraging signs, and her publicist says she “is responding well to treatment and her condition continues to improve.”

After finding out that they are expecting a boy in January, Lily Allen and her construction worker beau Sam Cooper, 32, have already started picking out baby names. “The whole thing became a lot more real to me when I found out it was a boy,” Lily says. “You start to think of names, and then you can go shopping, and it all feels like it’s happening.” Considering the soon-to-be dad Sam is pretty straight-edge, the British singer says that their baby will not have some “stupid” name!

Lily told The Sun newspaper, “It brings me great pleasure to tell you that Sam and I are expecting our first child. It goes without saying that we are both absolutely delighted.” And we’re delighted for her, too!
