Miss USA Rima Fakih has already picked out her sexy costume for the Aug. 23 Miss Universe competition, and she says it is in honor of President Obama. Rima said of her revealing gold bustier/eagle costume, “The symbolism of this costume is a tribute to [Obama’s] work to bring peace to the world …the amazing costume I will wear during the Miss Universe pageant represents the celebration of life, liberty and all that is American.”

Rima Fakih finally opened up about those pole dancing photos that surfaced just hours after she was crowned Miss USA with an interesting excuse – it was early in the morning and I didn’t know there would be cameras! The beauty queen was on Regis and Kelly this morning where she said: “it was 8:00 in the mroning and I didn’t know anyone would have a camera. What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas in my case ends up on YouTube.” At least she has a great sense of humor about it!
