We’re so jealous of Cristiano Ronaldo! And no, not just because he has the perfect body. He also has the coolest sneakers ever — the Nike HyperAdapt 1.0, which are new self-lacing kicks! Watch him try on the shoes we’ve been waiting for ever since ‘Back To The Future II!’
Cristiano Ronaldo‘s shoes are better than ours and that’s because his self-lace — just like Marty McFly’s (Michael J. Fox) did in Back To The Future II! That’s right. Nike unveiled a very cool, new pair of sneakers, and they let the soccer star be the first athlete to try them on. Watch the video here!
It’s officially ‘Back To The Future’ Day, and it may just bring the past into the present. While many predictions did come true from the film, two things we’re still missing is Pepsi Perfect and Nike’s MAG sneakers with power laces. However, we could be getting them both today.
Just one tweet by Nike is totally giving us all the feels, but let’s back up a little first. In January, Nike’s designer Tinker Hatfield confirmed the team was working on a “MAG” line with power laces, and said he was hoping it would be ready this year. Well according to this tweet, it sounds like the shoes — which of course, were featured in Back to the Future II, could be dropping today.
So tragic. On the morning of April 19, a teenage boy from Brooklyn learned a hard lesson about cutting in line after he was shot for doing so outside of a Foot Locker. These must have been some serious shoes.
Thankfully, 15-year-old Isaiah Martinez is still alive after being shot outside of a Foot Locker in Brooklyn, New York. The shooting took place at 5:40 a.m. when Isaiah angered other shoppers by jumping ahead in line. Many had already been camped out for hours waiting on the 8 a.m release of Kanye West’s new sneaker.
The scandal-plagued golfer is going to have to take his outfit, his speech and even his body language into consideration when he attempts to regain the world’s trust at his highly-anticipated press conference on Friday
In order to redeem his reputation in the wake of his infamous sex scandal, Tiger Woods is going to have to keep his first public appearance since Thanksgiving simple and focus on his golf career rather than his broken marriage, advises Los Angeles-based image expert Michael Sands.
Sands, whose previous clients include Britney Spears and Kevin Federline, has outlined Tiger’s ideal comeback speech.
“All he should say is essentially, ‘Thanks for coming. I just want to address some issues surrounding my comeback from a self-imposed retirement.

Just one day before Tiger makes his first public statement, wife Elin is making a fashion statement of her own in Nike!
Nike was one of the few endorsers who stuck with Tiger Woods once his sex scandal errupted, and now it looks like wife Elin Nordegren is sticking with Nike! She was spotted in Florida on Feb. 18 dropping off daughter Sam, 2, at school — and she was all decked out in Nike gear from head to toe! Elin is clearly still loyal to the Nike brand… but does this also mean she’s loyal to Tiger? Let the speculation begin! Sound off below with your thoughts on Elin’s fashion statement. There go your rollover minutes, Tiger!
AT&T is officially clicking off on their endorsement deal with Tiger Woods. The phone company announced the split in a brief statement today, Dec. 31, saying that they “wish him well in the future.”
That future, unfortunately, is looking grim for the golfer, at least when it comes to his sponsorship deals. Not only has he been dropped by AT&T, he was also cut off by Gillette and Accenture, while Swiss watchmaker Tag Heuer said it would “downscale” Tiger’s appearance in their ads.
Are you surprised it took this long for Tag Heuer to respond to Tiger?
Yet another one of Tiger Woods‘ sponsors is rethinking its relationship with the gofer. Just one week after Gillette cut the golfer from their ad campaign, Swiss watch maker Tag Heuer is jumping on the bandwagon and says it’ll “downscale” its use of Tiger in their ads — but not drop him completely.
On Dec. 10, Australian Tag Heuer stores took down their Tiger posters but at the time said it was routine for them to switch ads four or five times a year. Now they’re finally admitting Americans won’t be seeing him represent the company as much as he did before due “to recent events,” CEO Jean-Christophe Babin said.
Would YOU press charges against your spouse after a supposedly private altercation?
Your wife Elin could be in jail — in the very worst case, of course — by the end of the week! HollywoodLife.com spoke to several prominent celeb-defending attorneys and they all say the same thing — if Elin is responsible for the lacerations on your face she could face serious jail time, even if you don’t press charges. We did some digging and domestic violence does not sit well in your home state of Florida — if charged and found guilty, Elin must serve a mandatory minimum of five days in the county jail!
But it’s all up to the District Attorney, we’re told, so you both better cross your fingers. “It depends how the DA feels about domestic violence. They could prosecute her independently and she could easily be locked up. She would have to be in court by the end of the week,” says renowned NYC lawyer Raoul Felder.
