Jacob, you may not have won American Idol, but you still make us want to jump out of our chairs and shout Hallelujah!
Songbird and absolute sweetheart Jacob Lusk was kicked off of American Idol last week, leaving us with just four contestants competing to win. HollywoodLife.com spoke with the reality star at MTV’s The Seven directly after the boot to see if there’s a special lady helping him cope with America’s decision …
After one of the most competitive nights in ‘American Idol’ history, it was the youngest contestants Lauren Alaina and Scotty McCreery who stood out to me the most!
Watching the last five contestants on “Then and Now” night on American Idol May 4 was like witnessing a “Best of” special — every performer brought his or her A-game. Honestly, I didn’t walk away hating anyone. That said, it’s down to a subjective vote — and if we’re talking opinions, I want to see Lauren Alaina and Scotty McCreery make it to the final two.

‘American Idol’ hopeful Jacob Lusk’s has had a run in with the law. Will it give him street cred or a quick exit from the hit show?
Back in 2009, before Jacob Lusk was an American Idol hopeful, he was cited by cops in LA for not buying a metro train ticket. Although that wasn’t the end of the world, he later missed a court hearing, which gained him an arrest warrant. Then, to make matters worse, he was arrested in November of 2010 after a mandatory traffic stop (which was coincidentally the day after he tried out for American Idol). It seems every year an Idol hopeful has had a run in with the law, but could this slip up cost Jacob the top prize?
With Pia Toscano no longer in the running, you told us your prediction of who will walk away with Idol glory. Do YOU think Scotty McCreery will take home the prize?
Last week fans of American Idol were stunned by the elimination of 22-year-old Pia Toscano. Many pegged her to go all the way, but after being booted from the Idol spotlight, HollywoodLifers have their eyes set on Scotty McCreery, 17, to win it all.
