‘Twilight’ may seem invincible, but both films have made more than the vampire flick both here in America AND overseas!
The Twilight Saga : Eclipse is facing some very steep competition for “Choice Movie : Fantasy” tonight at the Teen Choice Awards with two films that received slightly better reviews and made more money! While Twilight has made a very impressive $649 million worldwide and $293 million in the US, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince made $933 million worldwide and $301 million in the US, slightly more than Eclipse. Blowing them both away however is Alice in Wonderland, which made over $1 billion worldwide and $334 million in the US. Wow!
Don’t shoot the messenger! I think Kristen Stewart deserves to win just as much as you do — but Sandra Bullock is totally taking home the sympathy vote!
Sorry, Kristen Stewart. You totally rocked in the Twilight Saga: New Moon, but I don’t think you have a chance of beating Sandra Bullock for Best Female Performance June 6 at the MTV Movie Awards! Read more & VOTE for the winners!
As the caterpillar asks Alice in Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland, WHO ARE YOU, Lady Gaga? We know! You’re the Mad Hatter!
The Bounty Hunter is bombing at the box office!
Jennifer Aniston and Gerard Butler, we have one question for you… What happened? The Bounty Hunter had so much hype, but it looks like it’s going to debut at #3 this weekend, according to Nikki Finke‘s Deadline.com. It’ll take in an estimated $20.5 million this weekend, which puts it behind Diary of a Wimpy Kid (which has a noticeable lack of A-listers) and Alice in Wonderland, which will rule the box office once again. BFFs, did you see the movie? Tells us: Why is it doing so poorly? Read more & vote!
What happened, BFFs? Why didn’t you see Remember Me?
What a bummer! We thought that with huge hits like Twilight and New Moon under his belt, Robert Pattinson would be box-office king once again with Remember Me… but an estimate for the weekend reveals the movie isn’t doing so well. According to a report from Reuters, Remember Me has taken in $8.3 million so far (not including Sunday), which puts the movie in fourth place for the weekend. Read more & vote!

Daisy could sure use a few fashion tips from Gwen!
You don’t hear much these days about Daisy Lowe, the daughter of Gavin Rossdale and designer Pearl Lowe, but her latest fashion faux pas is definitely worth a mention. The 21-year-old model showed up at the London premiere of Tim Burton‘s Alice in Wonderland on Feb. 25 wearing… this. It’s best described by The Huffington Post as “a sheer piece of cloth over a matching purple underwear set.” We know she doesn’t have a close relationship with Gwen Stefani (the No Doubt singer was reportedly furious when a paternity test proved Gavin to be Daisy’s father in 2004) but maybe they could bond… over some stern fashion advice. Avril and ex-husband Deryck Whibley are still good friends!
Could you remain friends with your ex? Avril Lavigne can! She and Sum 41 frontman Deryck Whibley are still friends even after their three-year marriage ended in Oct. 2009. The two were even spotted in the same car Feb. 25 at the Alice in Wonderland premiere in London! In case you’re wondering what Deryck was doing there, he actually helped mix the movie’s theme song “Alice,” which Avril sings. He also worked with Avril on her upcoming fourth studio album, Pink Crust! Avril recently discussed her “working relationship” with Deryck on Ryan Seacrest‘s radio show. “He’s one of my best friends,” she said. “We’ve been friends for a really long time, and we will always be. We’re family and we have a connection.” In a world where most divorces lead to bitter feuds, Avril has a surprisingly refreshing attitude towards her ex! Do you think YOU could ever keep a relationship going with your ex like she is? Read more & vote!
Do you love Avril Lavigne’s new prettied up look or do you miss her usual punk antics?
We all know Avril Lavigne as a punk pop princess so it was great to see her glammed up on the red carpet for the Alice in Wonderland premiere in London on Feb. 25. She didn’t totally ditch her rocker roots though. Avril spiced up her blonde locks with peekaboo black highlights and she donned the prerequisite punk smoky eye. But, it totally beats her over the top pink streaks with matching pink shadow she wore in October of last year. What do you think though? Do you like Avril’s grown up punk look or do you prefer her more playful pink look? Read more
Whoa Avril! You really pulled out all the stops, and we think you look lovely!
Avril Lavigne, we’re used to seeing you dressed down in your punk-rock get-ups, but you really got your glam on for the London premiere of Alice in Wonderland on Feb. 25! The starlet, who sings the song “Alice,” (which plays during the end credits of the flick), wowed in a black Dolce & Gabbana dress. Avril, we’re so glad you got all dolled up! Read more
Off with her head? We hope not! We can’t wait to see more of Alice and her crew in Tim Burton’s wacky live-action revamp of Lewis Carroll’s classic children’s book
The creatures and people of Alice in Wonderland get the full Tim Burton treatment, and fully succumb to his particular brand of whimsy. In these three clips from the film – which hits theaters March 5 – Mad Hatter Johnny Depp (looking all Edward Scissorhands-meets-Sweeney Todd) takes Alice, played by newcomer Mia Wasikowska, to his rather unconventional tea party, Red Queen Helena Bonham Carter awesomely condemns a spineless toad to death (Off with his head!) and White Queen Anne Hathaway concocts a potion for Alice that shrinks way more than her waistline.
