Michelle entered into the hairdressing and coloring field when she was in her early 30s and became an unstoppable force beloved by celebs, like JLo, due to her talents as a top hairstylist in LA. Michelle has said her hairstyling inspiration comes from 80s hair metal stars, like Nicki Sixx from Motley Crue!
2. She does hair coloring on tons of TV shows

3. She’s had prestigious hairstyling training
Michelle went to cosmetology school, trained as a hairstylist at the Sally Hershberger at John Frieda salon before venturing out to build her own clientele. Then she took Vidal Sassoon courses. She was picked up by the renowned hair colorist Tracey Cunningham to be her protege in 2001, and the rest was history.
4. Her first major hairstylist as a colorist was doing Jennifer Lopez’s hair
Michelle was selected by Redken to style JLo’s hair on set during a Gucci ad campaign shoot in 2010, and she only learned about this career-changing opportunity that same morning. No pressure!
5. She’s worked campaigns and red carpets everywhere
Michelle has had many clients walk the red carpet at major award shows, including the Oscars, Golden Globes, Grammys, Emmys, AMAs — the list goes on. Additionally, she’s worked on fashion shoots, like a Michael Kors print campaign (ss2015), and a Lily Pulitzer campaign (ss2015).
