In the short video, Kylie poses with her friend, Pia Mia, clearly showing off that she’s decided to ditch her blonde wig and rock the braided ‘do instead. But it was just one month ago that Amandla took to Instagram to slam the 18-year-old’s look.

“when u appropriate black features and culture but fail to use ur position of power to help black Americans by directing attention towards your ur wigs instead of police brutality or racism #whitegirlsdoitbetter,” the 16-year-old commented on Kylie’s Instagram post, with cornrows, from July 11.
But the KUWTK star wasn’t going to take it lightly — and fired right back at her critic. “Mad if I don’t, Mad if I do…. Go hang w Jaden or something.” WHOA! If you forgot, Kylie and Jaden Smith are good friends, and were even once rumored to be dating. But Will Smith’s son has also formed a friendship with Amandla. They even went to prom together in the spring!
At the time, Kylie was absolutely ‘horrified’ over Amandla’s diss, but she’s clearly gotten over it now! Perhaps it was with the help of her friend, Justin Bieber, who defended her at the time, and seemingly ended the hate. “Guys leave her alone, were all trying to figure it out and she happens to be under a microscope!” he wrote. “But saying se’s being racist because she wants her hair in braids is ridiculous. lets focus on the bigger picture and instead of fighting over something stupid lets do something about equality, but it doesn’t stat here blasting a 17 year old for wearing braids smh.”
