After nine years and three kids together, a source close to Scott revealed that it was ultimately the issue of having more children that came between him and Kourtney. “It frustrated him that she wouldn’t even agree to marry him but she wanted to keep having his babies,” an insider tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “It’s like she was with him just because he made beautiful babies. Ideally, Kourtney wanted four children — the next one hopefully another girl. But Scott was adamantly opposed to it and wouldn’t even sleep with her out of fear she would get pregnant again.”

As of late, it seems that both Scott and Kourtney are focused on taking care of the kids they DO have while they continue to deal with the demise of their relationship. Not that that will be an easy task considering that Kourtney is still furious with Scott over his wild partying and cheating. The ex-couple met for the first time since their relationship fell apart on July 19, but as we learned, it was hardly a happy reunion. When Scott visited, he and Kourtney “barely spoke” to each other. Instead, “he went straight for the kids, giving them all huge hugs and lots of kisses.” “Kourtney is over the crying and just feels anger when it comes to Scott,” our sources say. “She’s mad at him for not pulling his s*** together.” For now, we hope that Scott and Kourtney can put aside their differences and continue to focus on being the best parents they can be for Mason, 5, Penelope, 3, and Reign’s, 6 months, sake.
