Julia’s successful career has led to many awards over the years, including an Academy Award in the ‘Best Actress’ category for her role in ‘Erin Brockovich’, three Golden Globe Awards for her roles in ‘Steel Magnolias’, ‘Pretty Woman’, and ‘Erin Brockovich’, and a Screen Actors Guild Award also for her role in ‘Erin Brockovich’. In addition to acting, Julia is known for standing up for causes she believes in through her involvement with various organizations, including UNICEF, which was started to give food and healthcare to children and mothers in countries that were negatively impacted by World War II. Julia was the highest paid actress in the late 1990s and early 2000s and continues to be one of the highest paid of her generation.
