George Clooney & Amal Alamuddin: Photos — George and Amal Clooney’s love story is one for the books. The actor was known as Hollywood’s most eligible bachelor up until he met Amal Alamuddin, an international human rights lawyer, in the summer of 2013. She was traveling in Italy, and happened to met George in his favorite destination, Lake Como, through mutual friends. That’s when the two got dinner together, and his parents were present.

George has previously shared the story of how they went on to have a deep connection — talking through text and email about all of the happenings in their then separate lives. The pair went on to spend holidays together and other occasions as an official couple. George and Ama wed in Italy in September of 2014. Amal later gave birth to the couple’s twins on June 6, 2017 — daughter Ella and son Alexander.
