Chris Fischer — Chris Fischer, 41, is a chef and farmer, originally from Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts. He’s perhaps best-known as comedian Amy Schumer’s husband, but Chris has befriended famous people long before the comic came into his life, like Jake Gyllenhaal, who he met through his old boss Mario Batali. Chris has been a personal chef to New York restaurateur Keith McNally, a sous chef in Mario Batali’s Babbo restaurant, and has cooked for many more notable establishments. He’s also authored a cookbook.

Chris and Amy have one son, Gene David, together, and the couple have taken on a few projects together. Most notably, Chris got to show off his kitchen skills in the Food Network show Amy Schumer Learns to Cook. He was also a part of the HBOMax docu-series Expecting Amy, and his wife told jokes about him in her hilarious stand-up comedy special Growing.
