Liza and Charlie were co-stars on ‘How to Get Away with Murder’ before they turned a friendship into a romance sometime in 2017. Charlie confirmed the romance and discussed how their love progressed, in a July 2017 interview on the ‘Allegedly with Theo Von & Matthew Cole Weiss’ podcast.

‘We were great friends and we found ourselves in a position to be more than that,’ he said. ‘You spend a lot of time [together] and we, I very much enjoyed spending time away from work and so it all just kind of came together like that…I’m very happy.’

The couple confirmed their split in 2019 and Charlie said they were still friends at the time. ‘Liza and I share an amazing relationship rooted in love and respect,’ he said in a statement to ‘People.’ ‘That relationship has found its way back to the great friendship we’ve always had.’

In June 2022, the actor posted a photo of him and Liza holding hands and wished her a happy birthday while calling her ‘baby,’ leading many to believe they rekindled their flame. Check out their photos by clicking through the gallery!
