Glamour ‘Reel Moments’, Directors Guild of America, Los Angeles, America – 14 Oct 2008
Demi Moore and Courteney Cox both made their directorial debuts last night at the Glamour Reel Moments event in Lo Angeles. The Glamour Reel Moments project, presented by Suave, consists of three short films that are based on real women’s stories and written by real women – the readers of Glamour magazine. So far it has been responsible for launching 14 directorial debuts by some of the most powerful women in Hollywood. In previous years this has included Gwyneth Paltrow, Trudie Styler, Jennifer Aniston and Kate Hudson. Ray Drecker, a former high school sports legend turned middle-aged high school basketball coach, is divorced and struggling to provide for his kids when his already run-down house catches fire.
Looking to take on a second job, Ray decides to exploit his best asset in a last-ditch attempt to change his fortunes.
Created by Dmitry Lipkin (creator of ‘The Riches’) and Colette Burson, ‘Hung’ uses dark humour to tell the story of a man fighting to survive personal setbacks that have been compounded by a troubled economy.
