In addition to the statement obtained by HollywoodLife through Armie’s lawyer, the Los Angeles Police Department has confirmed there is an investigation. “On February 3rd Investigators at the LAPD operations West Bureau special assault section were contacted by an attorney representing a female community member,” the LAPD tells HollywoodLife. “After speaking with the community member the department initiated a sexual assault investigation which is being investigated by the special assault section. This is an ongoing investigation and no other details are available.”
While Elizabeth has not issued a statement about these most recent allegations, she addressed other claims against Armie in February 2021. “For weeks, I’ve been trying to process everything that has transpired. I am shocked, heartbroken, and devastated. Heartbreak aside, I am listening, and will continue to listen and educate myself on these delicate matters.
