The Last of Us is based on a popular video game where a smuggler has to protect a teenage girl in a post-apocalyptic world. Bella’s role in the show is her biggest acting job of her career so far.’
Bella also revealed she’s “gender fluid” in an interview published in Jan. 2023. “I guess my gender has always been very fluid,” she said to the New York Times. “Someone would call me ‘she’ or ‘her,’ and I wouldn’t think about it, but I knew that if someone called me ‘he,’ it was a bit exciting.”
