God bless Jessica Simpson, 37. Just when you thought that every Hollywood star is perfect and looks glamorous all the time, up pops Jess to remind us that they’re human after all. She has been on a beach vacation in the Bahamas with her husband Eric Johnson, 38, and their adorable two kids – Maxwell, 6, and Ace, 4. While there the singer has spent the last days of April showing off her sexy bikinis in her “vacation closet” selfies, sharing them with her army of fans on Instagram. But the paparazzi have snagged some awkward shots of her with a wedgie, which the Daily Mail published on May 1. SEE THE PICS HERE. The photographs were snapped while the singer was minding her own business, chilling with her husband and a friend on the beach. Ouch!
It looked uncomfortable. And we should know because – like we said – we all get them. Even supermodels like Bella Hadid, 21. She was snapped with a bikini wedgie just the day before on April 30 while hanging out on a Miami beach. But, let’s be honest, gone are the days when getting a swimsuit or bikini wedgie was totally embarrassing. In fact, when it comes to beachwear the wedgie is actually in – pun not intended! It has been for the past two summers – 2016 and 2017 – according to Cosmopolitan and Yahoo Lifestyle. And there is no shortage of celebs proudly flaunting their swimsuit wedgies on Instagram. So Jessica could pretend that the wedgie was deliberate.
But we’re guessing that she has more important things to do – like living her life, taking vacation closet selfies and celebrating her daughter’s sixth birthday. On May 1 Jessica paid tribute to her mini-me Maxwell by posting an Instagram photo of her sleeping with her firstborn. She added the caption, “And just like that my baby is 6 #MAXIDREW.” In another photo Maxwell shows that she has perfected her mother’s art of the pose, by perfectly striking one in front of an enormous bunch of balloons. Not sure when the Johnsons’ vacation will come to an end but we’re glad they’re having fun.
