Niall Horan To Louis Tomlinson After Mother’s Tragic Death: ‘I’m Here For You’

Niall Horan, 23, released a statement Dec. 9 after Louis Tomlinson‘s mother, Johanna Deakin, passed away at the age of 43. The mother of seven lost her battle with leukemia, and Niall took to Twitter to offer his condolences. “I love you, mate,” he wrote to his fellow bandmate. Take a look at Niall’s full message:

“Thinking of you and your family,” Niall said in a second tweet. “Love from my family to yours.”

Niall isn’t the only former 1D member who spoke out during this devastating time. Zayn Malik, 23, also tweeted his thoughts, although he and Louis have had a tumultuous. “@Louis_Tomlinson love you bro! All of your family is in my prayers,” Zayn wrote in a tweet on Dec. 9, adding, “proud of your strength and know your mum is too x.” We’re glad to see the 1D guys rallying around Louis while he is going through a difficult time.

Zayn was the first member of the One Direction members to reach out to Louis publicly, on social media. Fellow member, Liam Payne‘s, 23, pregnant girlfriend, Cheryl Cole, 33, also wrote to Louis to express her sad feelings about Johanna. So sad.

Johanna was a mother of seven —  Lottie, 18, Felicite 16, twins Daisy and Phoebe, 12, and twins Ernest and Doris, 2, with Louis being her oldest child. Her husband, Dan revealed in a statement to Capital FM, Dec. 9, that she had lost her battle with leukaemia, a blood cancer, in the early hours of the morning Dec. 7.
