We’re diving right in, and let’s just say, it’s no surprise that this season’s almost done: almost everyone’s gone. First up was Shelby (Lily Rabe) and Dominic (Cuba Gooding Jr.) searching for a way out and finding that that was impossible with the real butcher outside ready to kill them as she had Agnes. So, they headed back inside, but seeing Matt’s dead body again — that she was responsible for — mixed with the attacking Piggy Man, was too much for Shelby and she killed herself.

Meanwhile, Lee (Idina Porter) was being literally tortured by the Polk family throughout the first half of the episode — they cut chunks of her leg out slowly. Instead of the entire family, just Jether (Finn Wittrock) was the one with the assignment to kill her. First though, she filmed a goodbye video for Flora, where she admitted that she did in fact kill her husband. After that, she drew Jether in, knee’d him, stabbed him in the neck and escaped. She then knocked out the mama of the family who was busy pulling Audrey Tindall (Sarah Paulson)’s teeth. Monet (Angela Bassett) had ran away, so we can assume (and hope) she’s still out there.

When Audrey and Lee finally got back to the house they found Matt and Shelby’s bodies and when Dominic filled them in on what had happened, they didn’t believe him and locked him in the hallway with the Piggy Man. So yes, Dominic was murdered as well. The following morning, Lee said she needed to go back to the Polk house to get that video of them killing Mama. (We all know she just wanted the — of course — so off they went. Piggy Man was at the door in those final moments, but this time it was just their friend “Gillian?” who looked a lot like Wes Bentley.
