Helena Bonham Carter, 50, and Bonnie Wright, 25, showed their support for J.K. Rowling’s new play by attending a performance of Harry Potter & The Cursed Child on Aug. 3, as seen on Instagram. Helena and Bonnie posed for an incredible photo with the entire Cursed Child cast.

Bonnie and Poppy Miller, who plays Ginny in the play, also met up on the set of the play. Helena quickly befriended the actors of the Cursed Child cast and got them all together for a photo. Helena’s character, Bellatrix, was one of Slytherin’s most evil witches, so it’s not a surprise that she came face-to-face with the play’s Scorpious Malfoy, the son of Draco and Astoria Malfoy. Like his father, he was also sorted into Slytherin.

If you’ve read Harry Potter & Cursed Child, you know that Bellatrix is still a big part of the J.K.’s world. For those of you who don’t want to be spoiled, stop reading!

It turns out that Bellatrix and Voldemort had a child in secret named Delphi. In the play, she tries to bring Voldemort back by traveling back in time. She is the titular “Cursed Child.” Harry Potter and his son, Albus, end up defeating her and prevent her from completing her master plan. She ends up in Azkaban — just like her mother.

Helena and Bonnie are among the first original Harry Potter cast members to attend the play. It’s so great to see the casts of the movie and the play supporting each other. The Harry Potter family game is STRONG!
