In a dramatic eight-page sexual harassment lawsuit, Carlson claims that Roger Ailes told her in Sept. 2015, “I think you and I should have had a sexual relationship a long time ago and then you’d be good and better and I’d be good and better.” She also alleges that he “injected sexual and/or sexist comments” into conversations between the two and made “sexual advances by various means”. Carson claims he told her she was “sexy”, but “too much hard work”.
Carlson’s suit says that she requested the Sept. meeting because she wanted to “bring to an end the retaliatory and discriminatory treatment she had endured”, and she alleges that once she opposed his “sexual harassment”, Ailes “consistently denied [her] various opportunities” such as assigning her “to cover high-visibility events or conduct important interviews”, and “shunn[ed], ostraciz[ed] and humiliat[ed] her, both publicly and privately”. She claimes that he would ogle her in his office, “asking her to turn around so he could view her posterior”, and would comment “repeatedly about [her] legs”. How awful.

Gretchen has filed her lawsuit with the Superior Court of New Jersey, alleging that Roger violated the New York City Human Rights Law. Gretchen is not suing the network — only Roger — and her attorney, Nancy Erika Smith, tells CNNMoney, “We are very confident in our evidence. We have very powerful evidence. But we don’t want to discuss what the evidence is outside of the courtroom.” Meanwhile, when the lawsuit was announced, Gretchen shared a message on Facebook about her termination at the network.
