It’s that time of year again! ‘Good Morning America’ announced the first celebrity that will take on the dance floor this season — ‘Full House’ star Jodie Sweetin! So, who’s her partner?
Could we be anymore excited for Dancing with the Stars? While the full cast won’t be announced until next week, GMA just revealed that Jodie Sweetin, AKA Stephanie Tanner will officially be dancing the night away this season!
“I love this, I want to do this,” Jodie said on GMA. She also reflected about that dancing episode of Fuller House when she totally got down with Val Chmerkovskiy bro! “It really helped set things up. I always loved to dance,” she said. “Stephanie danced growing up — I have some experience, I have some rhythm.”
She also revealed that her partner will be Keo Motsepe — so we are SO excited to see these two! Jodie will also be able to get some tips from her Fuller House sister, Candace Cameron Bure who competed in season 18!
“FINALLY!!! I can share the fantastic news that I’ll be joining @abcdancing this season!! Can’t wait!! The big announcement was on @goodmorningamerica this morning!! I have the amazing @keo_motsepe as my partner on this wild ride!! #teamkeoandjodie #dwts #season22,” Jodie wrote on Instagram after her appearance on GMA.
Season 22 of DWTS begins on ABC later this month, and we know this time around will be a little bit different. Both Julianne and Derek Hough will not be on! Julianne, who began as a dancer but became a judge last season, will be pursuing a different path this year, while it was just reported that Derek will not be a pro this season because he’s focusing on his Broadway role in Singing In The Rain.
Additionally, Len Goodman will be returning to judge after taking last season off to work on Strictly Come Dancing in his native England.
Are you excited about the new casting? Do you hope she creates this epic Stephanie Tanner scene from Full House? You know you want her to.
