The most-talked about case of all time comes to life on Feb. 2 in Ryan Murphy’s ‘People V. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story.’ So, who’s playing who? Click through our gallery to see every side-by-side pic.
Everyone knows O.J. Simpson will be portrayed by Cuba Gooding Jr., 48, but he’s actually not in the show as much as the other key players of the case. We told you where they are now and who’s still working in the courthouse, but now, let’s take a look at each character and the actor who’s taking on the challenging role.
Marcia Clark will be played by Sarah Paulson. Sarah actually was filming both American Horror Story: Hotel and American Crime Story simultaneously for three months — so going from herself, to Hypodermic Sally, to Marcia, was definitely a transformation. (You can watch it here!)
Christopher Darden will be played by Sterling K. Brown. We recently caught up with Sterling about his thoughts on the #OscarsSoWhite controversy — and he revealed that the Oscars aren’t “just an awards ceremony” to him, but it also opens up career opportunities. “So when I think about this guy Ryan Cooglar who I think is a wonderful wonderful director and did a masterful job with Creed. That recognition means something, it opens up doors! So you have to think about it in those terms, it is not just an award, it is not just get over it. These awards mean things to people beyond just being a shiny statue.”
Kato Kaelin will be played bye Billy Magnussen.
Lance Ito will be played by Kenneth Choi.
Gil Garcetti will be played by Bruce Greenwood.
Tune in to FX at 10PM every Tuesday for People V. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story.
