Maddie is super pumped to be able to hang out with Parker now that he’s in high school. She sweetly asks him how his first day is going, and Parker’s already ruling the school. He’s the new captain of the science squad, which used to be Joey’s title.
Then Smalls comes up to Joey and begins teasing him about his first day of school, showing Joey a throwback photo of his old mullet! When the crew is called to perform the flexed arm hang, Maddie’s ready to show off her skills. That’s when Parker says, “Or maybe there will be a new champ.” Sounds like a competition is brewing!
Tenzing, who plays Parker, spills to HollywoodLife.com about the fun episode and what it was like having all the Rooney kids in the same school!
“People are really going to love this episode because all the Rooney are together in the same school now,” Tenzing says. “Also, I get to do an awesome hockey move! Joey is really good at hockey in real life, and he’s the one who taught me the move.”
The new Liv & Maddie episode, titled “Ridgewood-A-Rooney” will air Sunday, Jan. 17, at 8:30 p.m. ET on Disney Channel.
