Despite the song’s seemingly cheerful title, there’s not a whole lot of cheer within its lyrics…at least not for Kylie’s sake! If the song is about her, Tyga takes some pretty big shots at her by rapping phrases like “lame is all you ever be” and constantly referring to her as a b****. He also raps that all he wants for his birthday is “more fire, more Twelve Juice, more designer, young Halle Berry’s in my theater room reclinin.” That certainly doesn’t sound like anything a loving boyfriend would say — in fact, it sounds like what a bitter ex-boyfriend would say instead!
Plus, when reports first broke that Tyga and Kylie had split, there was speculation that it was because he cheated on her with a stripper. In another line, Tyga raps, “I’mma gift b**** right before your eyes/I do this all time b****, why you look surprised?” and that definitely sounds like it could be hinting his stripper rendezvous to Kylie! And when she didn’t show up to his birthday dinner and party, maybe she heard this dis song and knew it was totally about her!
Whether this song is actually about Kylie, it apparently didn’t seem to phase her because she showed the world they’re seemingly still together on her Snapchat on Nov. 21! She posted a picture snuggling up to Tyga with a message that read “Everyone needs to chill.” Ironically, with all of these rumors floating around about their relationship, Tyga’s song starts off saying “think I’m worried ’bout a rumor?” Take a look at the lyrics and see if you think they’re about Kylie or something totally different!
