Rather than being upset with Charlie for not being transparent about the virus, though, Elizabeth is thankful, as Charlie was adamant about using condoms when the two had sex. Furthermore, Elizabeth thinks Charlie “has every right to an active sex life” and isn’t worried about her status.

Elizabeth confirmed to TMZ that she has been tested for HIV multiple times since her relationship with Charlie, all of which have come back negative. Additionally, Elizabeth said she is comforted by the fact that Charlie’s HIV is reportedly undetectable in his system.

In case you missed it, Charlie announced on the Nov. 17 episode of The Today Show that he was HIV-positive, and also disclosed a bit of his sexual history since learning of the virus. Charlie actually admitted that he has had unprotected sex since learning of his status– and he’s done so with me than one person. Charlie was insistent that those who engaged with him in unprotected sex were aware of his status, though, telling Matt Lauer, “The two people that I did that with…they were completely warned ahead of time.”

What do you think, is Elizabeth right not to be upset with Charlie or is she being too laid back?
