Miranda Lambert, 31, and ex-husband Blake Shelton, 39, split just a few months ago and he’s already started dating his fellow “The Voice” judge Gwen Stefani, 46. A recent report claimed that the reality show co-stars were always flirty but a source tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY that in spite of the obvious chemistry the country crooner went out of his way to convince his now ex-wife there was nothing going on between him and the pop star — and there never would be.
The chemistry between Blake and Gwen on The Voice was hard to ignore – especially for Miranda. But a source tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY that when the blonde country beauty confronted her now ex-husband about it he balked at the suggestion. “There were so many moments between Gwen and Blake on The Voice and he always told her there was nothing between them, he even told Miranda that Gwen isn’t his type, that she’s too skinny.”
But since Blake and Miranda finalized their divorce in July he’s gotten increasingly close to Gwen. And just days after photos from their PDA-filled Halloween weekend surfaced online her rep finally confirmed they are a couple. So how does Miranda feel about the new relationship? Our source says, “of course Miranda feels like she got conned.” Poor girl!
To make things that much worse, Gwen flew to Nashville to party with Blake after the CMA Awards. Her rep told TMZ that Gwen and Blake wanted to reveal their relationship tonight, Nov. 4, as they celebrate the CMAs in Nashville. They’ll be “attending several after-parties following the awards ceremony,” a source told the news site. As for how long they’ve been dating, Gwen’s rep said, “just days.”
This must be so upsetting for Miranda, especially since Blake told her it would never happen. We love Blake but it doesn’t seem like he was exactly honest with Miranda. What do you think HollywoodLifers? Was Blake being dishonest with Miranda, or did his feelings for Gwen suddenly change? Let us know!
