Bobbi Kristina Brown Laid To Rest: Arrives In Golden Hearse For Burial

Bobbi Kristina Brown’s casket arrived in a golden hearse in New Jersey as her family prepares for her burial today, Aug. 3. Bobbi Kristina will be laid to rest beside her mother, Whitney Houston, who died in 2012.

Bobbi Kristina Brown’s family is gathering once again to say their final goodbye to the late 22-year-old. Her casket was driven in a golden hearse to the Whigham Funeral Home in Newark, New Jersey on Aug. 3 to prepare for her burial service. Bobbi Kristina’s body was taken from Alpharetta, Georgia to New Jersey after her Aug. 1 funeral.

The hearse arrived with a police escort to the Whigham Funeral Home. The hearse was followed by black limos carrying her aunt Pat Houston, 55, Whitney Houston’s former bodyguard Ray Watson and her uncle Tommy Brown. Additional family members are expected to attend the second ceremony celebrating Bobbi Kristina’s life. HollywoodLife.com learned EXCLUSIVELY that Bobbi Kristina will be buried beside her mother in Fairview Cemetery in Westfield, New Jersey.

Bobbi Kristina’s Sweet 16-themed funeral was held on Aug. 1 at St. James United Methodist Church in Alpharetta, Georgia. Bobby Brown, 46, Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed, 46, and celebrities like Tyler Perry, 45, and Michael Jai White, 47, attended the service. Bobbi Kristina’s boyfriend, Nick Gordon, 25, did not attend. Unfortunately, drama unfolded during the ceremony. Bobby’s sister and Bobbi Kristina’s aunt, Leolah Brown, was kicked out of the service after she started screaming at Pat, who was preparing to speak.

The final song played at the funeral was reportedly Whitney’s “Jesus Loves Me.” Bobby also reportedly wrote this sweet message to his daughter in the funeral program: “I also will always love you.” The message is a reference to Whitney’s classic song “I Will Always Love You.” After a post-funeral gathering at St. Marlo Country Club, Bobby appeared distraught and broke down in tears in his car, according to photos.

Bobbi Kristina died on July 26 after spending several months in a coma. She was found facedown and unresponsive in her Georgia home on Jan. 31. She remained on life support for months. When doctors realized she would never recover, Bobbi Kristina was moved to hospice care. Her family remained by her side throughout her 7-month fight for her life.

Our thoughts are with Bobbi Kristina’s family and friends during this difficult time.
