Kim Kardashian’s Swollen Feet: Still Wearing Heels During Pregnancy – Hollywood Life

Pregnant Kim Kardashian: How She Can Help Swollen Feet From Falling Out Of Heels

Nothing comes between Kim Kardashian and her beloved high heels -- not even a pregnancy. In her second trimester, the reality TV queen is still sporting stilettos. But, uh-oh, it looks like her feet are starting to swell! Kim Kardashian, 34, is making sacrifices for the sake of fashion. As the pregnant Keeping Up With The Kardashians star comes closer to her December due date, she hasn't yet bid farewell to her stellar street style -- mostly always inclusive of sky-high sandals. Even though it's hard to take your eyes off of that growing baby bump, gaze down south and you'll notice that her affinity for fancy footwear appears to be hurting her hooves? Dr. Rock Positano gives HollywoodLife.com some EXCLUSIVE insight.

Kim, who’s expecting a little brother for North West, was photographed running errands on Sunday, July 26 in L.A. rocking a tight, white bump-baring ensemble which was, of course, paired with some rather strappy (and seemingly restrictive) shoes. If she can’t part ways with her precious pumps, what can she do to reduce swelling? Here, an expert explains.

“I recommend ice baths during the day and evening and wearing a small 1-2 inch wide heeled shoe as these reduce the stress and strain in the foot, ankle, lower leg, knee, hip and back,” Dr. Positano tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY.

In addition, Dr. Positano (who serves as the Director of Non-Surgical Foot and Ankle Service at the Hospital for Special Surgery in NYC) says that if Kim doesn’t ditch her Louboutins soon, she could experience more “discomfort.”

“Shoes tend to become a problem as well as the foot naturally expands in size during the first trimester of pregnancy,” he adds. “This factor coupled with increased swelling from water weight gain can lead to extreme foot and ankle discomfort especially when wearing shoes that might not be the correct size”.
