After taking a water ride on a banana boat, Mimi made her way back onto land — and mistakingly showed off her left nipple in the process!
Her man James certainly got an eyeful as his gaze was directly focused on Miss Carey’s bare breast, helping her get back on her feet. Cringe-worthy much? Maybe. However, the potential embarrassment didn’t seem to stop the pop diva from having fun while soaking up the Italian sun.
This minor wardrobe malfunction was just a small hiccup in Mariah’s seemingly perfect getaway. Clocking in quality time with her four-year-old twins Morocco and Monroe, jet-skiing through the ocean, yacht-lounging and some sexy alone time with James were all on the 45-year-old’s itinerary. After all that much fun, what’s a tiny little swimsuit snafu?

While Mariah is clearly used to the finer things in life, she’s been exposed to a whole new level of luxury while dating James — who is worth an estimated $4.6 billion. James, who invited Mariah and her kids to join him on the opulent trip, was introduced to the chart-topper via Brett Ratner — an entertainment industry vet and mutual friend of the duo.
“Brett knows a ton of people with a ton of money. He always needs to be where the cash is to finance his film ideas and James has become a friend and Brett knew that Mariah would be a great fit for him. Brett was definitely the matchmaker when everyone thought he himself was going for Mariah’s heart,” a source tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY.
And Brett seems to have some super legit matchmaking skills. “Mariah thinks James is a very nice guy. She trusts Brett’s instincts and is really going to give it a chance,” our source adds. We’re sure a silly nip slip won’t stop Mariah and James’ budding relationship from blooming!
