‘Vampire Diaries’: Delena As The Couple To Beat
After four long seasons, Vampire Diaries fans were bestowed the gift of Delena in all their glory. Their sexual tension was palpable. And let’s not forget that incredible season two moment when Damon told Elena that he loved her only to compel her to forget he said it. That’s what love stories are made of.
Delena fans nearly lost their minds when they made out for the first time at a hotel in season three. Their bond was bound together forever when Damon’s blood was what turned her into a vampire. Damon was the person who allowed Elena to discover the woman she was meant to be. (Don’t even think about bringing up the sire bond nonsense.)
Damon and Elena have encountered serious struggle, especially when Damon died. Elena couldn’t bear to live in a world without Damon, so she erased her memories of him. It was tragic and beautiful all at the same time. There’s no denying that Damon and Elena are twin flames. Their souls will always be destined to be for each other. Sorry, Stelena fans.
‘Vampire Diaries: Steroline — New Couple On The Block
Stefan and Elena fans were one of the primary fandoms of the first four seasons until the show decided to explore what could be between Stefan and Caroline. In short, it could and will be magical.
Watching Stefan and Caroline go from just friends to something more has been honest and real from the start. They went through major angst when Damon died, and Sheriff Forbes’s death threw a wrench into an easygoing romance. (Rest in peace.) As life goes, Stefan realized that he wanted to take his relationship with Caroline to the next level after she turned her humanity off.
Similar to what Damon and Elena faced before they could truly be together, Stefan and Caroline’s romance is just getting started. It was hard for me to get over Klaroline, but Steroline helped heal my wounds.
