Mirjana Puhar: ‘ANTM’ Star Shot Dead After Opening Door To Murder

This is so tragic. 'America's Next Top Model' contestant Mirjana was shot to death when she opened the door for the two men who robbed her boyfriend and their housemate in their Charlotte, North Carolina home. Mirjana Puhar, 19, was reportedly the first to be killed in the devastating triple homicide on Feb. 24, as she answered the door to two robbers and gunmen. Mirjana's boyfriend Jonathan Alvarado and his roommate Jusmar Gonzaga-Garcia were then shot in the head following Mirjana's death in an incident said to be fueled by robbery.

The report claims that detectives confirmed the triple homicide was “drug-related”, and they will reportedly look into the backgrounds of Jonathan and Jusmar, according to the Daily Mail.

Police reportedly found seven rounds of 9mm ammunition, two knives, drugs, a safety deposit box and a number of cell phones, which leads police to suspect that the house was used as a drug den.

However, Jonathan’s stepdad, James Jackson denies James was a drug dealer, and he claims that robbery is what drove the murders to take place. He believes that lead suspect Emmanuel Jesus Rangel, 19, had a false misconception that Jonathan had a lot of money since he had paid a large sum of cash for a car, the site reports.
