Tina Fey & Amy Poehler Diss Emma Stone At Golden Globes
Those ladies are dangerous! At this year’s Golden Globes, our beloved queens Tina and Amy returned to host the show for the third year in a row. And, because it was their last time on hosting duty, they went all or nothing in a particularly big way. We honestly lost track within the first two minutes of how many outrageous and hilarious jokes the two made, but one certain diss definitely stood out!
Emma Stone is talented and gorgeous, so how could anyone diss her? Well Tina and Amy found a way! When discussing this year’s nominated film Big Eyes, about paintings featuring individuals with–you guessed it, big eyes–Amy said that one of the paintings was actually on display in the room! Cut to: Emma!
The star certainly seemed to be caught off guard when the camera panned to her, but she laughed it off and was the good sport that we know she is.
The Hosts With The Most
Though some of Tina and Amy’s one-liners might have seemed a bit harsh, no need to feel sorry for any of their victims. The two assured viewers repeatedly that the evening was all in good fun. On the red carpet before the big show, Amy told Ryan Seacrest that she and Tina were “just going to have a good time.”
Well it certainly seems like they achieved that goal!
