Danny Green’s Holocaust Selfie Sparks Outrage

“You know I had to do it one time lol #Holocaust,” Danny captioned his selfie at the Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe on Oct. 8.

Whoa. The Holocaust Memorial isn’t somewhere you should be taking random selfies. After posting the photo, Danny received serious reactions on Twitter and Facebook about his selfie.

Needless to say, people aren’t happy about Danny’s photo. The Guardian reports that he changed the caption to say, “A lot of history here, more than you could imagine…very sad/tragic things happened #holocaust #berlin.” Danny later removed the Facebook post.

After the outrage, Danny took to Twitter to apologize for actions in a series of tweets.

We’re glad Danny has taken the time to apologize for his inappropriate post.
