Megan Hawkins, 19, is on the mend after reportedly being struck by a bullet in her bum during the pre-VMAS party Chris Brown, 25, hosted in West Hollywood, Calif. on Aug. 24. During the party, Suge Knight, 49, was shot six times and the model was reportedly struck once. Megan actually joked about her scary injury and smiled at the hospital, according to a new report.

We previously reported that three partygoers were injured during the Aug. 24 shooting at 1Oak during a party Chris hosted. One of those was Megan, according to TMZ. Despite allegedly taking a bullet that may have been aimed at Chris or Suge, Megan seems to be in good spirits.

The model was shot once in her butt, according to TMZ. Ouch. We are so happy to hear she is recovering and even smiling during this difficult time. The TMZ report also claims that model posted the following online on Aug. 25: “my ass took a 9mm and I’m keeping it as a souvenir.” Megan has since deleted the comment.

Who Was Really Targeted During Pre-VMA Party Nightclub Shooting?
A source tells HollywoodLife.com that Chris, who hosted the party, had no involvement with the shooting. “He didn’t have anything to do with that situation,” our source revealed. Death Row records found Suge Knight was reportedly shot during the party, but thankfully he’s expected to make a full recovery.
