Lil Bub, the adorable cat, famous for her big eyes and pink tongue that sticks out, stopped by VH1’s ‘The Gossip Table’ on Oct. 25 and it was absolutely amazing! Read on to find out what it was like to come face-to-face with the furry bundle of joy.
When I walked into work this morning, as a co-host for VH1’s daily morning show, The Gossip Table, I was not expecting to be greeted by the one and only, Lil Bub. Lil Bub, is an international superstar who was made famous after starring in a documentary at the 2013 Tribeca Film Festival, Lil Bub & Friendz. The superstar was gracious and humble when I met her in “purr”son this morning, this is what cat week is all about.
Cat Week: I Got To Meet Lil Bub
Cat Week is one week out of the year that is dedicated to all things cat. But I thought the height of my celebrations would be that last week I got my own kitten, Hammy. But I was absolutely shocked when I walked on set and found Lil Bub sitting on our table!
In case you didn’t know, Lil Bub suffers from dwarfism, which is why her legs are stunted. She has no teeth so it makes it difficult for her to eat, and her jaw never fully developed, which is why her pink tongue always hangs out.
But this is what makes Lil Bub so special, there really is no other cat that looks like her. She was so sweet and definitely loved chatting about all the celeb gossip we were discussing that morning.
I’m so happy that I was actually able to celebrate Cat Week with Lil Bub.
