‘Twisted’ Recap: [Spoiler] Confesses To Killing Regina

Oh. My. Goodness. I cannot handle the craziness that was the July 30 episode of 'Twisted.' Although it was pretty terrifying at times, I have to say I think it was the best episode yet! Love, creepers, confessions — the July 30 episode of Twisted had it all. So much happened, yet there's still so much for viewers to anxiously wait for next week. Where do I even begin?

Reading Time: 4 minutes

Lacey And Danny Begin Their Secret Romance

The episode opens with Lacey (Kylie Bunbury) and Danny (Avan Jogia) full-out mackin’ on each other, so we are definitely aware there is some heat between the two of them.

Despite their obvious chemistry, Lacey wants to keep it secret, like Romeo and Juliet — because as Danny said, we all know that ended well — ultimately to keep her cool factor with her friends.

Danny is okay with keeping their fling undercover, but he wants to at least tell Jo (Maddie Hasson), saying “I hate keeping things from her.” (Aw!) But, Lacey thinks that would make Jo feel like a third wheel.

Coincidentally, Jo is thinking the same thing about Lacey if she confesses her feelings to Danny, which she hopes he will reiterate — although we are all quite aware he has no feelings to reiterate except to Lacey.

Meanwhile, Rico (Ashton Moio) is still madly in love with Jo, hopelessly eager that Jo will one day come to her senses, realize Danny isn’t the one and confess her love to him.

Danny Has Scary Stalker Clones!

After being framed multiple times, Danny clearly has someone out to get him, and this week’s episode only confirmed that.

It all started with a little jump rope prank.

As if Danny hasn’t received enough grief for his murder, someone covered his yard in red jump ropes (what Danny used to kill his aunt). I know what he did to his aunt was horrible, but that prank was pretty cold.

It doesn’t stop there, either. Undercover lovers Lacey and Danny went to a park after dark for a secret date, and all was cute and secretive until another Danny showed up — ahem, more like eight Dannys!

Right in the middle of their romantic, yet somewhat creepy, date, Danny and Lacey had some unexpected visitors. A posse of eight guys with masks and jump ropes showed up!

Masks are always freaky in my opinion, but they were all of Danny’s face, and call me a baby but those masks are SO scary. I get the chills every time they’re on camera!

Considering their attempt to keep their get-togethers secret, clearly Danny and Lacey were followed.

Danny Throws A “Memorable” Party

In an attempt to stop trying to blend in, Danny had a raging party at his house. Who knew a former killer could get so many people to come to his house?

Well, maybe it wasn’t Danny that brought all of the people. Tyler (Chris Zylka), the sketchy, yet cute, popular guy that is making a documentary on Danny’s story, had sent an email to everyone he knows saying there will be something huge happening at the party, something Danny would never forget.

Danny won’t forget it, alright. Cue the Danny clones.

The clones not only showed up to the party, but they were the main event. They reenacted the murder of Tara, and even though “Tara” was obviously a dummy, it was still a pretty bothersome scene. Not to mention, bringing up some bad memories for Lacey, Jo and Danny.

Jo, who had gone on a date with Tyler earlier that night, spots him filming the whole thing and totally calls him out on it after. Even though ending things with Tyler still won’t lead to anything with Danny, you go girl.

Once everyone else cleared out, Lacey was the last to leave, checking on Danny after witnessing the murder reenactment…but also to get a little action.

They start making out, and everything seems to be peachy again — except for the creeper in the window recording their make-out session! What is with these people creeping on Danny?!

Danny’s Mom Knows The Truth Behind The Necklace — And Regina

Chief Masterson (Sam Robards) has moved from interrogating to enticing Karen (Denise Richards) to confess about her throwing Tara’s necklace into the pond, as Rico witnessed. He’s convinced kissing up will result in the confession he’s looking for.

Once she realizes what he’s doing, she refuses to speak to him without her lawyer. But the lawyer ends up backfiring when Chief Masterson brings Rico — well, “witness” as far as Karen knows — into the mix.

The lawyer knows Karen is in deep doo-doo when Chief Masterson says there’s a witness, and warns Karen she could be “an accessory to a murder” if what the witness saw was true. Which, it is, so needless to say, Karen is kinda screwed.

But, wait! The necklace is just the beginning, and in fact, the necklace might not matter anymore because Karen confessed to KILLING Regina!

Literally in the last two minutes of the show, when you think Karen is just going to plead guilty to throwing the necklace in the pond, she pleads guilty to being a murderer! Holy smokes!

We knew Karen was trying to protect Danny in any way she could, but did she really kill Regina, or is this another cover-up? I mean, if it is true, I guess murdering runs in the family…

There sure is a lot to be unraveled next week! Is it Tuesday again already?

Do YOU think Karen actually killed Regina, HollywoodLifers? What’s going to happen with the video of Danny and Lacey? Tell us your thoughts below!
