On Feb. 3, Leah hinted at the happy arrival on Twitter. “Yes, the time is near… Can’t wait to meet you little Miss Calvert!” she tweeted. The next morning, she welcomed her happy little girl, In Touch Weekly confirmed.
“Leah gave birth in the early hours of this morning to a beautiful baby girl,” a family friend told the magazine on Feb. 4. “Mother and baby are happy and healthy. Leah went into labor late last night, and the baby was born this morning.”
Although the name of baby girl Calvert has not been released, she joins Leah’s daughters Ali and Aleeah Simms from her first marriage to ex Corey Simms. We hope the baby has an A-name!
Leah Messer-Calvert’s First Child With Husband Jeremy Calvert
Leah’s baby girl is her first child with husband Jeremy. The got engaged in December 2011, and wed just a few months later in April. Even though the couple concieved their baby just weeks after tying the knot, they had wanted to expand their family for a while — Leah was pregnant during their engagement, which was featured on season three of Teen Mom 2.
Tragically, she suffered a miscarriage in that pregnancy, but we are so excited their dream of having more kids came true!
