Is One Direction going from boy band to man band? They may be if Harry has anything to say about it.
Harry Styles: Desperate To Stop Looking ‘Boyish’
Apparently being wanted by pretty much every girl isn’t enough for 19-year-old Harry! An insider close to Harry revealed to Heat magazine that he’s making some changes.
“He’s doing extra weight training and fitness as he’s desperate to stop looking ‘boyish’ and become more manly,” the source said. “He’s been concentrating on weight training to bulk up and increase body strength.”
We thought Harry already looked great, but apparently he doesn’t think so! His One Direction band mates don’t approve of his new workout methods, either!
One Direction Doesn’t Approve Of ‘Manly’ Harry Styles
“The other boys think he’s taking it a bit far and have been ripping it out of him for being so vain!” the source told the magazine. “They work quite hard on tour and during the show anyway (and all like playing football), but Harry has admitted he’s really pleased with how his body has bulked up, telling people he has his first-ever six-pack! He thinks he’s in the best shape he’s ever been in.”
Sarah Nicholas, the band’s chef while their on tour, said he’s even changed his eating style.
“Harry loves Asian food and is quite an adventurous eater,” she told Heat. “If he’s tired he might choose the pasta dish, but most times he’ll only have protein and vegetables.”
Harry Planning To Get Huge Tattoo
In addition to bulking up his look, it seems he’s also using tattoos to make him look more mature. We’ve seen the birds on his upper chest and the giant butterfly across his stomach.
LA tattoo artist Freddy Negrete, who gave Harry his first tattoo, told the Daily Star that they were planning a huge back piece!
He just can’t seem to stop tattooing at the moment, but he’s getting worried they’re all too front-heavy so it’s definitely his back we’ll be concentrating on. Harry will probably have more Hebrew lettering. He already has his sister’s name in Hebrew on his arm and he loves it.
Freddy also joked around, adding that the tattoo could “take months,” but said that Harry’s super easy to work with and talks through the whole process.
Well, at least he’s not in pain! So, HollywoodLifers — what do you think? Should Harry get more tattoos and work out more to look less boyish, or do you like him just the way he is?
