The pregnant reality star clearly wants to experiment with maternity fashion, but she really missed the mark with these unflattering snakeskin peplum pants!

Kim Kardashian has never been one to shy away from a daring outfit, but with the mom-to-be’s little bun in the oven continuing to grow, she made a major fashion misstep on Feb. 22 when she stepped out of her house in a pair of unflattering and unattractive snakeskin peplum pants!

The Kourtney & Kim Take Miami star, 32, was photographed as she was leaving her home in L.A. to go film one of her many E! reality shows. She may have thought the peplum on the pant would hide her expanding bump, but it only drew our eyes there, instead. These pants, coupled with a similarly unflattering black turtleneck that didn’t seem to fit either, made the naturally-beautiful Kim look like quite the fashion disaster.

Kim, you need to stay away from peplums and high-waisted pants during your pregnancy! They’re doing you no favors!

This frightening look is a far cry from Kim’s recent bump-revealing spread in DuJour Magazine, where, in a white bikini and a floral halter cutout dress, she looked ethereal and flawless!

Inside the pages of the magazine, Kim revealed how excited she is to be pregnant, saying, “I just feel so blessed and excited and ready for the next phase.”

She also opened up on how baby daddy Kanye West, 35, has steered her toward wanting more privacy in her very publicly lived life. “My boyfriend [Kanye] has taught me a lot about privacy. I’m ready to be a little less open about some things, like my relationships. I’m realizing everyone doesn’t need to know everything. I’m shifting my priorities,” she revealed.

We wish this outfit was one thing that Kim would have chosen to keep private!

LOL..and I really mean it, I am laughing out loud!! .! Get some real maternity clothes and stop trying to force yourself in a teenagers outfit!! You look silly!!

at first I was going to berate you for exhibiting ageism, but then I thought, would even a teenager wear these pants? I think it’s a no, so chalk it all up to her trying too hard. These shouldn’t be sold to anyone except maybe a five year old.

She looks comical in those pants which are made for a tall, lean, young woman. She’s a short, overly-voluptuous 32-year old woman who happens to be pregnant. She obviously suffers from some form of body dysmorphia since she sees herself as 5′ 9″ and 110 lbs. Get a full-length mirror and a good stylist because things are only get worse as her gestation progresses.

I think she looks amazing! I love them but thet woukd look ugly on me! She rocked them! And btw @leanne she preggos every preggo women looks fat because they have another human being inside of them! R u for real?! I love kim and she is sooo beautiful!<3

It’s as if she purposely dresses herself to look hideous and misshapen. And this knucklehead was supposedly a stylist?!?!
