A new report says that Harry Styles‘ brief fling with Australian model Emma Ostilly in April is the reason why country princess Taylor Swift wrote one of her most scathing break up songs about him. HollywoodLife.com previously reported that “I Knew You Were Trouble” is about Harry, and Taylor wrote this song because she was “crushed” that Harry kissed Emma. Taylor Swift Dumped Harry Styles Because Of His Wandering Eye
Taylor, 23, had briefly started dating Harry, 19, when they met at the Kids Choices Awards last March, but it was over before it began when he kissed Emma in Australia.
“Taylor was crushed over Harry the first time they dated, and like she always does, she penned a song about him to deal with her broken heart,” a source close to the singer tells Radar Online. “I Knew You Were Trouble” is one hundred percent about Harry. She knew he was young and popular with the ladies and wasn’t ready for a serious relationship, but somehow hoped she could make it work.”
Furthermore, Taylor’s music video for the song contains some subtle hints that the song is about Harry.
‘I Knew You Were Trouble’ Is About Harry
“Taylor was known to be with Harry when he got some of his tattoos and he has one on the left side of his chest,” the source revealed. “And in her music video there’s a scene where Taylor goes with the guy who plays her boyfriend to get a tattoo and he gets one in the exact same place on his chest that Harry actually has one.”
How interesting! Harry sure does love getting tattoos, and Taylor once even sat with him while he got inked. The source reveals that while Taylor knew Harry was “trouble,” she still gave him another chance because she liked him so much.
“She was head over heels for Harry so even though she knew he was bad news for her, she gave him another chance,” the source says. “Harry pretty much knows the song is about him but doesn’t really care. He’s just happy to be single again.”
Well, we knew that Harry is happy to be single!
