As much as we all hoped Taylor Swift and Harry Styles were the real deal, it appears the Haylor is officially over after two months of dating!
Taylor Swift & Harry Styles Break Up: What Happened?
“They had a fight,” a source tells Us Weekly. The insider then reveals that Harry, 18, “said something he shouldn’t have . . . This [breakup] is definitely going to be for good.”
Taylor can be “intense,” a separate source told the magazine. “They are 100 percent over.”
And we thought Haylor was in it for the long run!
This breakup comes after a huge blowup fight during the couple’s trip to Virgin Gorda in the Virgin Islands. Just after Harry was reported to have said “I love you” to Taylor, the couple called it quits.
Taylor Swift Leaves Virgin Islands Alone
The 23-year-old singer was spotted looking sad as ever, leaving the island alone to head back to her home in Nashville.
HollywoodLife.com learned exclusively that Taylor was “visibly unhappy” as she left Virgin Gorda Jon an. 4.
“Just her body language and general demeanor didn’t give a sense of happiness,” an onlooker says. “She wasn’t crying.”
On Jan. 5, Taylor even tweeted, “…’til you put me down,” which is a line from her song “I Knew You Were Trouble,” a song reportedly about Harry. Looks like this is one wound that can’t be mended!
Haylor’s Split Causes Heartbreak
Apparently, Taylor wasn’t the only one upset by the breakup. Harry was reportedly quite upset by the blowout. A source told Life & Style magazine that “Harry’s really upset about the split and is really sensitive about it.”
The couple was just recently spotted taking pictures with fans while on their vacation. They even shared a sweet, very public midnight kiss and butt grab on New Year’s Eve in Time’s Square.
As sad as we are about Haylor’s breakup, we’re looking forward to all the songs that are sure to come out of this broken relationship!
