#1 Nate Gets Arrested:

The cast of Buffy The Vampire Slayer can move over, as Manhattan’s elite have formed an equally impressive “Scooby squad.” Chuck and Blair enlisted Serena (Blake Lively) and Ivy to help take down Bart, while Nate (Chace Crawford) acted a double agent to pull the wool over the silver fox’s eyes about Chuck’s intentions. And it’s a shame Nate’s so bad at it, because he ended up getting arrested for fraud! And let’s face it, Nate is way too pretty for prison. Luckily for him, Blair has a back up plan…

#2 Blair & Chuck Kiss:

Chuck reached a dead end in his attempt to find Bart’s Achilles Heel, and things took a turn for the worse when Bart sort-of kidnapped Blair, telling Chuck that “accidents can happen.” Wow, that guy takes a lot of dramatic pauses. He told Chuck the only way Blair and Nate would be safe is if Chuck left New York and went to start a new life in “Mos – koww.” Because, God forbid he go to Moscow! And right before Chuck boarded the little plane, he and Blair shared their best kiss since season one!

#3 Chuck Isn’t Dead:

Bart attended a swanky event to be honored for his contributions to the business world, and Blair decided that was the perfect time to mess with him. She enlisted the help of her “bitches” Serena, Ivy, Georgina (Michelle Trachtenberg) and Sage (Sofia Black-D’Elia) to unnerve Bart at the event. He was seriously spooked, but not as spooked as Blair when she learned Chuck’s plane went down. Once again, Bart mentioned that “accidents” can happen; and just when we thought Dan (Penn Badgley) was about to turn to the dark side for good, instead of calling Bart to the stage, he brought out Chuck! Dan is clearly a much better double agent than Nate. Like Victoria Grayson, Chuck rose from the ashes — minus the bandeau dress, of course. And he’s not about to let Bart away with attempted murder!

#4 Chuck Lets Bart Die?!

In the wackiest, most ridiculous scene ever aired on Gossip Girl, Chuck and Bart had a dramatic showdown on the roof of the hotel, complete with weird, West Side Story-esque music. Chuck failed to solicit a confession from Bart, and their fighting leads to Bart falling off the roof . Dun, dun, dun! He hung for a perilous few moments, then surprisingly, Chuck did not pull him back up! Bart fell, and we were left with the agonizing final words “to be continued.” No!

Also, Dan begged Serena for a reunion (yawn!), while Sage convinced Nate to go through his research once more, as they believe Gossip Girl will be able to free him from Bart’s shackles. Could Nate be about to finally uncover Gossip Girl’s identity?!

We literally cannot wait for Dec. 17!

What do YOU think HollywoodLifers? Will Chuck and Blair get their happily ever after?
