Really wanted her to stay but blaming Demi is just wrong lol! Most of the people who get eliminated usually blame their mentors. Still think she was really good though!

No way!! Jennel is being a sore loser!!! Demi helped her and was doing the right thing.! There’s always other people other there that are just better then you are… And you have to accept it!! Paige just did a better job then Jennel. And with that attidude and the way she is throwing Demi under the bus…. She doesn’t deserve it….. It’s not Demi’s fault… It’s her own! She can’t blame anyone but her self!!! -.-

When you are young and trying to start out, a mentor is someone you are suppose to trust and expect to follow their advice if you want to succeed. She had every reason to think that Demi having been in the industry even if not for as long as others, she certainly has much more experience than Jennel Garcia would know more about what songs to sing and what image would work. The definition of a mentor: 1. a wise and trusted counselor or teacher. 2. an influential senior sponsor or supporter. So yes the point of the show is that the mentor is suppose to help you and guide you, since they are suppose to be a wise and trusted counselor and teacher. If you follow that advice as you are told to do, and the advice causes you to fail. Then the mentor does hold some of the blame on your failure.

From watching X Factor from the beginning, I really believe Demi is a poor choice by the show to have as a judge and mentor. She may do okay on the judging side of it. But she is no wise and experienced enough yet to fit the description of a mentor, let alone a good one! They need someone who has more industry experience. They should have paid Brittney what she wanted and got rid of Demi. I was never a Brittney fan, but she seemed to be a great mentor. She has years of experience in the industry and her contestants did well last year! She was entertaining as a judge as well! She was worth what she was asking! They need to find someone to replace Demi next year if they don’t want the show to fail. They also need to replace Paulino Rubio, she is often confusing and not only that there are time she seems so confused wonder if she is on something! I felt so bad when Josh Levi was in the bottom 2 the week he got voted off and she gave this big fancy introduction for the wrong person. She couldn’t even remember which of her acts were in the bottom 2!

Get it together X-Factor. You were my favorite singing competition show. But this year I am getting bored with the show. A large reason is the horrible choice of Paulino and Demi a judges!

Jennel was my favourite from the very beginning. Honestly, though, demi lovato did a poor job with all of her contestants last season. She’s stupid, untalented, and I think what Mel said was correct. My question is: Why the HECK is she back on X factor this season when she was such an incredible failure last season? God help whatever category she’s inflicted upon.

I completely agree! She has not been in the industry long enough nor is she old enough to be a mentor to anyone in my opinion There is a reason why her contestants are not winning! She started this season with the best singer in the competition. But that poor girl almost went home last week. She is making horrible song choices for her contestants! Her last two girls need to read this article and use it as advice as how to possibly make it to the end. They need to listen to the advice from the other judges and not always listen to Demi if they stand any chance of winning!

I feel that Demi tries to sabotage (in a subtle way) those who are potentially better than her.

I loved Jennel ever since her first audition! She Was perfect! Then Demi came & ruined her. I could tell Jennel didn’t seem comfortable. She should have listened to Simon. He was right. Jennel.was charming & fun to work with before Demi stepped in. Jennel should have won.. I loved her!

Okay First of all No one can make you something your not! Jennel could have stuck up for herself but she chose not to.. and that’s her fault! So don’t blame Demi because Jennel has a beautiful voice but she chose not to use it to stick up for herself!!

Demi took everything that made Jennel a star away from her and made her into something that was not a winning look or style. Her intentions were good the out come costly

I definitely feel that Demi is the reason that Jennel got booted off X-Factor. Jennel had this sex appeal and joy when she first came on the show, but after Demi dimmed her light by telling her to not flip her hair, not keep her hair color, cut it, sing this, dont do that..it took away what really attracted people to Jennel…her true self. Simon said it well when he said that he felt that Demi was trying to turn Jennel into “a Demi.” Poor Jennel..I feel for you girl..you’ve got talent, just keep on keeping on. Try out for “The Voice.” They seem to have good coaches on there. :(

i totally agree. she started taking away jennel’s appeal since when she told her to stop flipping her hair and then she changed her image to this dark rock singer when jennel is a sexy fun singer

Demi is definitely a bad mentor. No questions about it. She set her whole team up for failure. She changed them all into something they were not. It was more about the way they looked then their voices with Demi. Simon should find someone with more credibility. I feel bad for these contestants who put their lives on the line for this show only to be mentor by Demi who can’t get you no where. Can’t believe she is back for another season. What a disappointment.
