One Direction‘s Louis Tomlinson hasn’t let fame go to his head or his heart. He recently had girlfriend Eleanor Calder, a political and sociology student at University of Manchester, meet up with him for a romantic few days in Niagara Falls, Canada while he’s on tour.
His relationship is so important to him that he wants to make it work, despite the long distance.
“It’s a little daunting,” he admitted to HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “At the end of the day if you want it to work, it will work. It just requires probably more effort. If your heart’s in it, then you’re not gonna mess about.”
Louis has definitely put in the effort and that extends to protectively defending the woman he loves against any Twitter haters who’ve attacked Eleanor, who also models for Hollister clothing.
“It’s really strange and the majority (of fans) don’t have hate towards her… It gets a little frustrating seeing that, especially when I’m in a happy relationship. But at the end of the day, I am happy and Eleanor is happy, so there’s not really that much more that matters.”
Louis, you are so right! You wisely realize that having a great relationship with one special woman is so much more valuable than one-night stands with girls who only care about your celebrity status, not the real person inside.
