Jennifer Aniston's New 'Engagement' Ring -- Better Than Brad Pitt's?

Jen is sporting what looks to be an engagement ring on her right hand — the same hand she wore Brad’s 500K ring on. But which ring fits Jen’s personality better?

Jennifer Aniston has moved across the country, changed her wardrobe, and downsized drastically since starting to date Justin Theroux. Even her taste in jewelry is different! We told you the actress is sporting an amethyst ring on her right hand ring-finger — it’s her birth stone, but does this ring reflect the “new Jen” or the “real Jen”?

Brad Pitt proposed to Jen with a gorgeous sparkler in 1999 estimated to cost about $500,000. He co-designed the ring with Silvia Damiani and it symbolized eternity. They even went to far as to sue the jewelry designer for replicating the ring years later. But now, Jen is wearing a simple and understated antique ring.

Do you think Jen’s less traditional ring fits the relaxed Jen that was there all along? Jen now lives with Justin in her $5.9 million West Village apartment — far smaller than her $38 million Beverly Hills estate that she sold in June. Jen’s style is even changing. Jen and Justin dress alike in matching black and leather ensembles and he clearly brings out an edgy side of her.

Not to mention Jen finally cut her hair in February, changing a ‘do that she had worn for years. And of course, Jen smiles all the time! The normally reserved actress is constantly grinning from ear-to-ear.

I think that the size ,shape or the amount of the ring don’t matter if it was giving to her from heart and with love.. with that I THINK RINGS are meant to Be Beautiful especially if You are a A-movie star {MS. JENNNIFER ANISTON)..but so is LOVE, And HAPPINESS.IF JUSTIN MAKES HER FEEL THAT WAY GREAT. everything the writer just wrote are plain lies. first of all, jen did NOT move to newyork,she said last week that los angeles is her home and she is going to be bi-costal. 2nd of all that ring jen is wearing is not an engagement ring, 3rdly before jen even started dating justin, she said she wanted a smaller place.

hollywood life, why do you like writing rubbish? that is not an engagement ring. an engagement ring is not worn on that hand. that ring is just a fashion accessory.

It might be an engagement ring, but then again it might be nothing. I think the reason she is wearing her ring on the right hand in 2004 is because she has her wedding ring on the left hand, but she is also Greek and they wear their rings on the right hand and that might allow her to be secretive if she wants to. Either way I really wish her happiness. She deserves it.
