Here comes Peter Cottaintail…and he’s hanging out with President Donald Trump and the First Lady! As with every Easter, the White House celebrates the holiday with the White House Easter Egg Roll. In 2019, Donald Trump and Melania Trump oversaw the ‘egg-cellent’ event. Under a sunny Washington D.C. sky, President Trump addressed all the attendees while Melania and the Easter Bunny stood by his sides. In addition to giving the youth a chance to get their ‘egg-roll’ on, the yearly event is a chance for Mrs. Trump to show off her springtime fashions. In years past, Ms. Trump has worn a blue trench coat dress, and in 2019, she debuted a new take on her now recurring outfit. With golden skin and elegant hair, Ms. Trump didn’t need an Easter bonnet to steal the show. Mr. Trump, as usual, wore his regular suit but opted for a striped tie, a deviation from his traditionally one-color choice (either trademark ‘Make America Great Again’ red or deep blue.)
