Tom Parker is a British singer who is best known for his time in the band The Wanted. He auditioned for The X-Factor as a teenager, but did not get past the first round. However, he wanted to continue pursuing a career in music, so he dropped out of college. He became a member of The Wanted in 2009. The group experienced some mainstream success before they decided to go on an indefinite hiatus and pursue solo careers in 2014. Tom did some solo work after the band split, and he also competed on ‘Celebrity Masterchef’ and ‘The Jump.’ In 2018, he married Kelsey Hardwick. They welcomed a daughter in 2019, and announced that she was pregnant with their second child, a son, in June 2020. Sadly, just four months later, Tom shared the devastating news that he’d been diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor. He vowed to fight the terminal disease with whatever treatment was available.
