James Spader plays Raymond “Red” Reddington on ‘The Blacklist.’ He was nominated for Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series – Drama at the Golden Globes in 2014 and 2015. The show is currently in its sixth season and was renewed for season 7. He stars alongside Megan Boone on the NBC series, as well as Diego Klattenhoff, Amir Arison, Mozhan Marnò, Hisham Tawfiq, and Harry Lennix. The season 6 finale will air May 17. The synopsis for the finale reads: As the president’s (guest star Benito Martinez) true plan comes into focus, Liz and the Task Force fight to avert disaster. Meanwhile, Red meets in secret with a man who holds information about his past. Jennifer Ferrin, Deirdre Lovejoy and Coy Stewart guest star. The show will return for season 7 in the fall of 2019.
