Taylor Rooks is most popularly known for being an American sports journalist and broadcaster. Following in her parent’s footsteps, she attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champain and majored in broadcast journalism. She also came from a family of athletes (being the niece of St. Louis Cardinals Hall of Famer, Lou Brock as well as the niece of former Pittsburgh Steelers player, Marv Woodson) and soon became interested in sports journalism in particular. While there, she covered national football/basketball stories as a reporter for Scout.com, along with received various scholarships as she helped bring more women into broadcasting.
She got her career start at SportsNet New York as a host, reporter, and correspondent. She then moved to Turner Networks where she made several on-air appearances on Bleacher Report and Turner Sports. She later appeared on BTN Live, BTN Football Pregame, and Women’s Sports Report.
